FOR A BETTER FUTURE …

As Konveyor, we continue our sustainability journey, which started with assessment organizations in the field of sustainability and progressed with activities to calculate and reduce our carbon emissions in 2021. In 2023, we are taking our work to better levels in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

In line with the strategies determined by our Sustainability Committee, we continue to work with our working groups to reduce or eliminate our emissions and environmentally damaging factors which are originating from our activities, as well as employee and customer satisfaction, operational sustainability, stable growth and social benefit.

GREEN BUILDING CERTIFICATE

As Konveyör Beyaz Eşya ve Otomotiv Yan Sanayi, we are happy to be awarded the TSE SAFE GREEN BUILDING CERTIFICATE at GOLD level in our Eskişehir Plant.

CARBON FOOTPRINT

Since 2021, Konveyör has been working on calculating its corporate carbon footprint, and for the past three years, we have been calculating our carbon footprint in accordance with the ISO 14064-1 standard. In 2023, we launched a web-based carbon footprint program called "KonGREEN," developed by our own teams. This program enables us to quickly calculate annual at the facility level, compare facilities, and generate reports on our overall status. In line with the ISO 14064-1 standard, we can compare the current situation with the base year in real- time. Additionally, by granting permissions to process owners, we can integrate supporting documentation related to data into the system, enhancing the accuracy and transparency of the data. This allows us to provide accurate and transparent carbon footprint information to all our stakeholders.
 

In June 2024,

we validated our corporate carbon footprint against the ISO 14064 standard, reinforcing our commitment to environmental management and sustainability even better. This verification concretely demonstrates our progress towards achieving our sustainability goals while increasing the credibility of our carbon footprint.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

As Konveyor, our approach to waste management is based on a comprehensive strategy to fulfill our environmental responsibility and achieve our sustainability goals. We aim to increase the efficiency of processes by encouraging correct waste management and recycling practices through employee training and awareness programs. Applying the zero waste principle at every stage and obtaining our zero waste certificates in all our plants is the confirmation of our efforts in this direction. In addition to this, We aim to reduce waste, increase recycling rates and optimize resource use. We also share our environmental responsibility with our suppliers, creating a sustainable value chain.

HUMAN RIGHTS AND SOCIETY

Konveyor offers a fair, transparent and development-oriented work environment that supports gender equality and diversity. In cases where a situation contrary to ethical rules is observed, employees can report the violation via [email protected] and the process is kept confidential.

Ethical competition must take place within a transparent, honest and legal framework. Konveyor conducts competition in accordance with the law, respects employee rights and is free from conflicts of interest.

We have been working in accordance with international standards in our processes for many years and have been on the ISO 500 list. In parallel with the sustainable way of doing business, we focus on moving ourselves forward every year. We are proud to be ranked 369th in the 2023 evaluation process in ISO 500 list.

We maintain our global competitive power with sustainable growth and make investments that respect the environment and people. Innovation, efficiency and excellence are our priorities. We increase operational efficiency by continuously improving our processes and use resources effectively. We continue to grow with R&D, digital transformation and new investments.
