Burner Caps

A wide variety of aluminum or brass burner caps for gas cookers and ranges are manufactured in KONVEYOR.

The material (Al 1050 for the aluminum and MS-58 for the brass burner caps) is hot-forged to part-blank, machined to size, and drilled to final shape. Special in-house developed technology and machinery is used in the material (aluminum) preparation, and also in the said manufacturing steps.

As per customers’ preference, the final surface finish of the caps may be as polished, as (spherically) machined, as black anodized (for aluminum caps), or as combined with built-in or removable enamelled lids.

The anodizing is also in-house process carried on in the anodizing facility built for this purpose only. The black color so obtained is heat resistant and withstands 500º C for one hour as testing criteria.

The enameling process for the lids is carried out at KONVEYOR’s suppliers. But the whole manufacturing steps (from supplying of enamel-quality steel to testing of the enamel quality according the related specifications) are under the control of KONVEYOR’s Quality System.

Most burner caps are supplied as they are, and to be grouped to burner sets by customers. Some other however, are grouped in-house (i.e. brought together with supports, chambers, venturies and injectors supplied from the related suppliers), tested, and supplied as ready to use burner sets.

KONVEYOR also supplies enamelled burner lids for injection-molded-type burners to some European manufacturers.

All of the products described above are packed in cardboard boxes and the boxes are put on wooden pallets for long-distance deliveries.

Aluminum Gas Tubes

Aluminum gas tubes for gas cookers, ranges and stoves are manufactured in Konveyor with annual quantities in multi-millions for many years. The tube diameters could be 5, 6, 7, 8 or 10 depending on the application and customers' requirements.

In the production:

The tubes are cut to length in full automatic machines,
The ends are formed as per customers' requirements in semi-automatic end forming machines,
The fittings (either in brass or steel which are defined by the customers) could be inserted automatic or manual depending on the shape,
Forming to final shape of the tubes is manual on proper jigs,
The tubes are bundled in tens or dozens and placed in cartoon boxes.

Export deliveries are on wooden pallets.
